        For some people, the results of their goal weight are not achieved quickly and if you can't hit your goals some turn to the starvation diet or extreme diets that restrict calories far below their daily energy needs.

Is starvation a solution for weight loss?

      This is the simple rule you have seen in so many weight loss articles calories in vs calories out if you consume more calories than you burn you will gain weight and burning more calories than take in, you will lose weight.

A starvation diet results in a great loss in muscle mass but this can slow down your metabolic rate and results would be? you can feel more hungry and end up overeating or can suffer deficiencies that can affect your day to day life when you starve for a long period, your energy level drops and your body starts using energy from stored fat. starvation can never be a solution.
